Originally from Memphis, Tennessee and now located in Tampa, Florida, RB and the Gang is a rock and roll group consisting of front singers, a rhythm section and a horn section.  The group takes audiences through time with the music of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and Motown along with a few originals from their CD, which includes the popular song Beer 30.

 

Although the band is best known for its live performances featuring creative renditions of popular hit songs from the 50’s to 80’s, their CD includes a wide range of original music featuring songs written by various Memphis songwriters and includes pop, blues, swing, rockabilly, soul and tropical styles. 

 

The band has packed major clubs throughout the United States and has performed concerts with artists Jerry Lee Lewis, The Coasters, Chubby Checker, The Platters, Tommy Boyce of Boyce and Hart, The Drifters, Tony Joe White, The Diamonds, Sam the Sham (Wooly Bully), Peter Noonan (Herman’s Hermits) and Little Anthony and the Imperials. 

 

The band also played in a community theater in Memphis for the musical Grease.

 

Audiences are thrilled with the group’s creative style, variety of music and powerful stage presence.

With music from the 50's all the way to 80's, RB and the Gang performs music to please people of all age groups.
